NOMADESC is an NGO based in Colombia, and operating in the South West of the country. This organization works with social movement activists from trade union, black communities, indigenous, displaced peoples and environmental constituencies to help them build capacity, develop strategy and build synergies between the different movements to strengthen their capacity to realize their rights as Colombian citizens. With a broad-‐based human rights focus NOMADESC runs diploma courses in human rights, accompanies different movements in their advocacy and human rights struggles and provides specialist advice on how to protect and extend the rights of marginalized communities in Colombia under conditions of violence, death threats and harassment.
